Where are HostGD's Servers?
A: Our servers are all located in Scranton, PA in
the BurstNet Facility.
Q: What
payment methods do you accept?
A: By default we always use PayPal however during
the checkout 2checkout is Available for Credit Card
transactions.
Q: Can I
buy IP Addresses for my Account?
A: You can have as many IP's as you like, Dependant
upon your services we can provide upto 1,000 IP
Addresses for any single account, These will however
require a general justification.
Q: Do you
allow Warez Hosting?
A: We do not allow any form of warez / nulled or
illegal copyright protected materials on our servers.
Q: Do you
allow proxy Sites?
A: We will allow proxies only in the event that they
are secure, Public proxies are NOT allowed.
Q: What
is your billing frequency?
A: We bill all of our services on the anniversary of
your signup date.
Q: How
long do I have to pay my invoices?
A: We invoice our clients 14 Days before the due
date, This gives you 17 Days in Total before your
account is suspended.
Q: Do you
allow torrent hosting?
A: No! Although torrents are not illegal what 99% of
them point to is! For this reason they are not allowed
on our services.
Q: Can I
upgrade / downgrade my account later?
A: Yes you can Upgrade and Downgrade your account at
any time you wish.
Q: Do you
have a refund policy?
A: Not strictly a refunds policy, We have a 7 Day
money Back guarantee, After this refunds are not
available. This only apples to VPS Packages.
Q: Do you
allow IRC?
A: Not under any circumstances!
Q: Do you
provide Windows VPS?
A: No, We are a Linux VPS Specialist

Platform Software do you use?
A: We run CentOS 5.x 64bit with OpenVZ and HyperVM

A: We can provide cPanel, DirectAdmin, Plesk, Webmin
or LXAdmin

Operating Systems are Available?
A: We have different OS Options for VPS and
Dedicated Servers, More info on the relevant service

Q: Do you
enable Tun/Tap or IpTables Modules in OpenVZ
A: No, Under no circumstances will we enable
IpTables for your VPS, Tun/Tap is Enabled by default on
all VPS Plans.
Q: How
many employee's does HostGD Have?
A: HostGD is a part of the Globalised Data Group
that currently employs 13 People in 4 Countries.
Q: Do you
have staff on-site at the facility?
A: We have staff on-site 24x7x365 to cover our
helpdesk and any hardware issues.
Q: Do you
have MSN/AIM etc?
A: No, We keep all of our transcripts on our central
hosting cloud so Live Chat/Email & Ticket Desk is the
only way of "Instant" Messaging our employee's.
Q: Do you
offer Phone Support?
A: Only for the Dedicated Server customers, VPS
Clients can contact the VPS Support Team at any time via
